There are images in this thread that could lead someone to create aquascapes that will lead us into the next phase of this hobby. The Japanese "Nature" style has been obsolete for 6 or so years now. There is nothing new and some of Amano's latest scapes are a sad proof of stagnation and crisis. What is next? Look at some of these pictures and see the future yourself.

You'd be forgiven for assuming it was salt water. But no, I's a fresh water lake, the world's largest lake containing 20% of the worlds unfrozen fresh water. Though it is frozen over I think 6 months of the year.
