Starting point first aquascape

Roy looking very good only one thing has me puzzled the large rock (second photo) its easier seen just passed middle RH side what is that white/grey on that rock?

Its a beautiful mix of stones you have collected it gives it a very natural look not like many of the bland one colour.

Hi Keith,Thank you:) It just the colour of the rock .Its the only one that is lighter Than the rest And has some algae On it ;) Have been Keeping a eye on that myself to see if algae spread But it been like that for two months or more no problem so far Was thinking of changing it:) When you look at the whole Scape it looks ok If it was with the rocks on LH side would look out of place as to light in colour .But can change ?

Hi All, My first AquaScape is coming together now :) Plants doing well ;) DST method Fab idea :rolleyes: Takes time But am truly happy with the way things are evolving 1 pic LH side coming along now

Are you going to put ??? in the back LH corner if so it would have to be simple as not to overpower the rest of the tank.

By that I mean not as the main feature but rather as an extension of landscape.

Roy WOW that tank has progressed a lot in the last 9 months.

Today it looks so much alive and full of very healthy life.

Natural mixed sizes of fine creek bed gravel makes your tank even more natural.
