Oh my..your photography is wonderful! I wish I had your talent. You can see so much detail, even his personality comes through in the photo!
Hristo, you have an usual selection of fish! I've never seen anything like this fish. Quite unique and interesting. Do you have a full body shot of it?
Not to mention, the photographs themselves look amazing. It's almost like the is no water or glass between the camera lens and the subject. :=D>

No, that Fellow is not exactly a “suckermouth”…more suppose to be a Loach one, though…
Now He is around 15 cm. long and actually, didn’t feet his whole size in frame on the macro shots I made till now…
So, here is another Loach fish… living in a Discus/Tetras/Rainbows tank of mine: Botia Macracantha

All of my photo-equipment is noticed in my signature…I don’t use any filters, strobes…etc.
Usually, my Speedlite 430EX is always situated over the tank(slave mod)…
the other one - Canon Speedlite 580EX (wires connected with the camera in “master” mod) I hold in my left hand
and move in front(like straight “fill” flash), dependent on the fish specific and fishes position…:idea:
The both are with diffuser!
That’s all.

Well this year we are going to San Marcos and Nikolay and his club will be there so I am sure there will be plenty of pictures this time.
So if any body would like to join the trip will take place on 05/10/2007 and there will be many things to do other than aquatic plants.

very nice photos, excellent!
i love the myxo fish ,i try it many time but they die quickly and i don't know why.
i try fresh water , hot water, different food (algae shrimps worms...) after one or two months same thing , they die.
i look on web and i found nothing ,have you any informations?

David, I'm keeping those myxo fishes through the last years without any problem... They live in my Discus/Rainbows tank.Really, I didn't notice anything special about keeping Them!
