Being new to Aquascaping you have an excellent eye for design and balance.

A very simple answer for both questions where and why adding more will start to look very unnatural.

Can you give us more about the set up, filtration heating, substrate, lighting, plants, high or low tech, inhabitants please.

I post all specification for scape

Thank you for posting all that information.

I preferred the first Aquascape where as now the RH side does not link up with each other leaving that large open area. Rocks will fill in the area but not link it all up together.

Re you inhabitants I would consider a large school of either Cardinal or Green tetras and a school of Oto Catfish and a good red Shrimp.

These algae-eating catfish are one of the best species in the trade, hands-down. These are the smallest species in this article, only getting up to 1.5in or so. This and their very calm demeanor make them perfect for most community tanks. These guys do best in groups are do remarkably well in planted aquariums.

They will not harm the plants and are particularly good at removing brown algae and general new algae growth before it gets a chance to take hold in the tank.

Reminds me of the Vazquez Rocks in California. It's nice, but too busy for my taste. If I were a fish, I'd feel cramped.

Not sure what lily pipe outputs you have there m8 from the pic ?

not sure if your going to get enough tank turnover/flow dependant on the pipes location, which could lead to poor CO2 distribution and issues

It is not so much the lily pipe dimensions as it is filter throughput. Ideally, a filter should cycle the tank's volume four to six times per hour. The other variable is how much fauna you plan to stock. More fish and other critters, more filtration.

In a CO2 enriched tank planted tank turnover/flow needs to be adequate, the general accepted guidelines is x10 filter/powerhead output for tank volume. But also its not just the output of the filter but the positioning and type of the filter/powerhead outputs to maximse the flow in the tank. CO2 travels 10,000 times slower in water than air so having good flow in a planted tank is key to success

I like it. The right side is balanced the left side has that very large piece of wood that seems disproportionate to the right side. How about a centerpiece that you can see through, I have seen this and it looks amazing.
