Hi am beginner to the aquascaping and I am trying to setup an iwagumi style tank. I have a 80x35x40 112 litres tank and I am trying to setup a 5 rock type aquascape.

This is my current setup:

which I am very inspired by this:

Also:

I picked my equipment very carefully, (CO2 supply, Tropical Aquasoil, Led light more than 8000 lumens) and I am thinking to use Cuba as a carpent plant but I am reading so many horror stories around the web which makes me skeptical.. Do you think to go to Monte Carlo instead?

Thank you a lot!

Your Aquascape is very square and not very interesting to look at. The center rock is the only rock that is a little bigger than the other four which look similar in shape and size.

Note
Basic Design and Layout
In Iwagumi style, each stone in the layout has a specific name and role to play in the overall aquascape.

I think you should do a complete re think about Iwagumi it's the most difficult aquascape to do and do it correctly otherwise it's just another rocky aquascape.

Next step use what rocks you have or replace them with with far more suitable rocks that will help you to make an excellent Iwagumi Aquascape.

Another strong suggestion would be make a Mock Tank cardboard and common sand can be used.
