Okay so i'm going to share something with you guys that I have been working on for the past couple of months. A project which i've titled "Aqua Mini" . but before I actually put this into production I thought i'd get a few opinions for you guys here. so please , let me know what you think !
Aqua Mini was designed to be Aesthetically pleasing, Compact, effective and complimentary
to it`s surrounding environment. it uses a low iron glass for enhanced clarity of
the plant or aquatic life that inhabits it.
the aquarium cabinet is finished in a premium formica laminate which adds a quality
look and feel to the overall system. it functions like a full sized aquarium cabinet
and allows for external filtration to be concealed underneath.
The in and out flow pipes are made of glass , This allows for maximum observation
with minimal visual distraction from bulky or colored components.
Our LED lighting system comes with a remote capable of Multi color settings
suitable for any time of day or look that you desire and allows plant life to thrive.
Aqua Mini is more than just an aquarium on your desk. It`s your prized living room or
office center piece with you wherever you decide without sacrificing quality and
authenticity.
A little FAQ I made.
1) How big is it?
the entire system is 14" tall , 12" wide and 6" deep
2) how big or small is the aquarium ?
The rimless aquarium is 2.5 gallons ( 9,5 litres) 8" tall , 12" wide and 6" deep
3) what about filtration ?
I'm designing quite possibly the worlds smallest external canister filter , which will fit inside the cabinet.
4) Tell us about the light system
The LED light system will be suspended above the aquarium on a metal stand fitted to the side or back of the aquarium. most importantly it will be capable of growing aquatic plants
5) Why did you come up with this idea ?
Sometimes owning a full sized complete setup isn't affordable nor practical. I wanted to create a product that would be a complete aquarium setup without sacrificing quality effectiveness and that would aesthetically pleasing.
Closing statement .. " I wanted to have more then just a tacky desktop aquarium . I wanted a full sized aquarium setup but miniaturized. Something Affordable, But luxurious and easy to move / maintain. "
