I am back after my long absence the reasons being.
Very briefly I had a very nasty fall (tripped over my own feet) early Friday morning off to local Hospital by Ambulance, they gave me a check over (No X Ray) done given strong pain killers and sent home with a script to get more.
Late Sat night massive pains again all in upper body, off to hospital again, still nothing done other than more pain killers, by this time I am getting very worried as I knew I had problems other than my back. I told them to contact a local Private Hospital and get them to contact a certain specialist. I stayed in Hospital over night more pain killers next day I was told I would be transported to a Private Hospital.
After being seen by four Specialist, two visits to the Operation Theatre, three visits for X Rays, one night in a special ward, and ten days in Hospital, before I was allowed out I was completely check over by another specialist and strongly advised to hire a Walker so I could move around. Finally the top Specialist had to check all reports before I was given the all clear to go home.
Why was I there for so long? I had a reaction to the strong pain killers they completely blocked me up causing more concerns then every thing had to be removed and slowly get back to a good health.
My local Physiotherapist has told me it was a very nasty fall damaging most if not all of my back except the spine thank goodness and will take many months to heal.
That is the short version of my stay in hospital.
Even today which is many weeks later I am still not 100% and must take it very easily, I cannot go out unless I have the Walker to support me, around the home I often use a walking stick.
Now I am back I hope to go back and reply to most if not all of the postings I have missed this alone could take several weeks to catch up.

I read in today's news a man recently died from the same medication I was given by a different Hospital.
