Hello,

I made yesterday my first try on aquascaping. I put some micranthemum Monte carlo as "grass" plant. Bought it like that:

I buried roots but when I fill the tank plant began to float.

Do you think the plant will end up attaching itself to the ground? Or i must cut long branches?

Thank you!

I planted monte carlo recently and found that the best way to keep them down is to sprinkle some gravel on top to keep it down. It is a bit frustrating but you will lose some of it. Hope it goes well!

Smaller bunches 3-4 stems each, plant as deep as possible does not matter if majority of the stem goes into the substrate. Only a few leaves will be out of the substrate. This is still good.

What’s the height of the substrate and what type of aqua soil are you using.

Irrespective, bunches will come out of the substrate sometimea and you would need to keep planting till they take hold and spread. All the best!
