An Apology from Keith

I would like to apologist ahead of time reason being on Jan 1st 2016, I decided to start a rather large fire in the kitchen, the Fire Brigade told me I saved the house by seconds with my quick thinking.

Thank goodness only isolated area burnt, but the home has to be cleaned from top to bottom and most of the appliances/benches have to be replaced, repaint all the kitchen

All this work will be going on over the next few weeks meaning my ASW time could be cut short or quick replies.

As you know I try to reply to every posting lately.

Keith I'm sorry to hear about this but I'm glad you here to tell the tale I'm sure people will understand if you not replying as much somethings are far more important, hope you can get things sorted out all the best to you and your family

Thank you all.

The big cleaning could start tomorrow mainly for health reasons.

Them the massive cleaning every thing has to be cleaned smoke damage

Wow Keith...scary! As an aquarist you had plenty of water around. Glad things are okay and since you've been active on the forum I'm guessing life is back to normal

If only another two months if lucky all I have had done is a clean up, and that left a lot to be desired.

When every thing is finished I will get and pay for a good job to be done.

A big hold up with the cupboards at the moment I am getting different versions of what should be replaced by the Insurance company.

A little update now only looking at another 4-5 weeks before every thing is finished.

Doing a so called "Electrical Cleaning" tomorrow 29th Feb only been two months since the fire its a bit late to start checking all the electrics now, besides I have checked and cleaned myself, two Electrical contractors checked every thing only hrs after the fire for safety reasons and turned the power back on.

Every thing takes time to get things done, the Insurance companies want their money fast but slow on paying out these days.
