I am new here to this forum, but not in anyway new to aquascaping or aquariums in general. I have 18 years experience in building and keeping aquariums. I keep both salt and freshwater. I choose this area to be my first post because I just finished a 2 day build with Dragon Stone in a 5 gallon aquarium and was excited to share my work. I'm hoping it gives some of you some Ideas on what to do with your own builds. I have a complete tutorial on this build I would be happy to post to a thread if requested.

This is a working waterfall scaped with Dragon Stone. It has a working 5w heater and filtration system. All the wood decor is solidly in place while only the substrate and plants are removable. All rock decor and plants are real.

I'm not 100% on what I want to keep in this setup yet but I will more than likely be adding some of my black berry shrimp from my shrimp tank into it. I think they will stand off the sand nicely and i know they will keep the tank clean. Panda loches may be in my near future in this setup as well. They will accent off the white sands and compliment the black berry shrimp with there black and white colors.

What are your thoughts?

I went and got me some panda loaches today. They will be going into this system after it is cycled out and everything is proper. I have a shrimp tank they will be going into for the time being, and they will remain with those shrimp even into the next aquarium as i will be adding some of the black berry's with them.

Yaoshania pachychilus, the panda loach, is a species of gastromyzontid loach endemic to mountain streams in Jinxiu County, Guangxi in China. This species grows to a length of 5.8 centimeters SL. This species is monotypic, but it was formerly included in Protomyzon.

Monotypic definition - In biology, a monotypic taxon is a taxonomic group that contains only one immediately subordinate taxon. A monotypic species is one that does not include subspecies or smaller, infra specific taxa. In the case of genera, the term "unispecific" or "monospecific" is sometimes preferred.

They will eat snails and are great at snail pest control.
in the bucket with them in a pearl danio and a small sunkist shrimp, both freebees lol
