    Hello everyone,

Here is one of my nano tanks, low tech without CO2 or fertilizers and T8 lighting.

This pic is a bit old but you get the idea :

    30x30x30 cm

JBL Manado, some wood and plants : Fissidens fontanus, Bolbitis heudelotti, Microsorum pteropus mini, Cryptocoryne wendtii green and brown, Java moss, Tiger lotus and some surface plants.

Livestock : Sakura shrimp, Snow White Shrimp, Anentome helena, Melanoides tuberculata, Otocinclus.

For over a year the tank had a lot of Sakura shrimp and now i figured i'd like to see another "color" with them, so i brought some Snow White (Caridina cantonensis sp. Golden Bee).

There is no problem in keeping them in the same tank because one is Neocaridina and the other is Caridina.

    Some shrimp pics :

The most i had i think is over 150 Sakuras, now there are around 50-60.
I only have a few Snow White shrimps, but i'm very happy to say 3 females are berried. :D
Can wait to see the little ones.

Alex the Red Shrimp carry a beautiful strong colour.

Its good to see you have not mixed them so they can reduce the possible pure strain you have in your tank.

You certainly know how to take beautiful photos.

I like the forth photo in the second post very much its something about the markings they all seem to be so old.

Waiting for the babies to come out. :D

The reason some pics came out more yellow-ish and some not is because i changed the camera lighting from Daylight to Fluorescent.
I think Daylight brings out a more beautiful red in Sakuras and Fluorescent brings the pure white in the Snow Whites. :)

Keith, i do have some Shirakura chi ebi but don't realy intend to give it to them. All the other shrimp babies i had did just fine with the regular food.
