I been looking into getting another aquarium to place right by my 75 gallon planted aquarium. This new aquarium will only be a planted shrimp aquarium. I been looking at the 120 gallon aquarium which is 4'x2'x2'. Not to sure if this will look funny next to the 75 or not which is 4'x18'x22'' What I'm looking to do is have more room for landscaping. I'm going high tech with this aquarium..:muscle: I'm not wanting to go to a 6 foot tank do to the cost of the lights. and most aquariums are 18" wide. Any help on this would be great. Here is a picture of my 75 gallon planted aquarium and the stand I built for it.

I have a 75 gallon tank and would like to do a 120 gallon tank to be next to it. Not to sure if that would look funny next to it or not? I built my own stand for my 75. This will be my first real big shrimp tank. So looking for good ideas.

I think your 120 gallon choice should be just fine.

It took a little while to build this thing. I'm still not done with it. I'm working on some pull out draws and going to put some doors on it. That is a winter project. Thanks for liking it.

    Just my two cents. ;)

I love the look of the 120 gallon and think it would look great next to your 75 gallon. The extra space from front to back will definitely help you create an excellent aquascape. Since it's a shrimp dedicated tank, while rather larger, I would focus on leaving the foreground open or with low growing plants sot that you can see them from time to time.

I've always been a fan of black. :)

I know the ADA folks love a certain gray though. It's really up to you and your personal tastes.
