I am growing Hygro Poly in my 80L/21G low light excel based tank, and am having great success in keeping this plant. Given the shortage of low light/lower CO2 planting options, I am having trouble planting around the Hygro. At the moment I have it set against Java Fern, but the Java Fern is causing the Hygro to look cramped.

    Please critique! All suggestions welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

What are the plants in the left/foreground that look like red/purple annubis? They're beautiful.

Those are 'newly submerged' Lobelia Cardinalis. Unfortunately they will lose that purple colouration in the next little while as this is only achieveable when emersed. You're right - they are very beautiful! It is a real shame that they won't stay that way!

    Here's a link: Lobelia cardinalis
