Just today I discovered some whitish fluff on one part of my substrate and one rock. Floats if I move it. I was concerned so I vacuumed that part of the tank. should I be concerned? wonder if it could be snail eggs (do they have eggs)? Some just arrived lately with some green plants, but so far it's not too many . . . /:)

snail eggs tend to look like a jelly sac attached to something, sometimes the glass or more often plants.

Could be fungus, a picture would be helpful.

I think I have something that sounds exactly the same. Does it almost look like spider web? Or fine cotton wool?
