Let's have some fun!
What do you do to your tank and layouts today?
I only have one wet tank left and that has a few Shrimps waiting to be sold then I start another Terrascape.
Today's work a water change and fed a few floating plants.
1. removed thread algae and cladophora.
2. added cardboard underneath the front legs to level the stand. Required removing 80% of the tank water so I could lift it.
Large aquascaped tank:
1. Added two emersed mystery plants, one eye-catching purplish plant that I hope will look great when submerged leaves develop.
Look at them and think: I need to do some maintenance...trim, clean, water change. Wonder when I'll have some time for that midweek. I hate being gone over the weekends and missing best time for regular maintenance.
That's pretty hilarious. I feel the same way!
Being retired I tried to do a little each day and if I missed a few days not a problem at all.
Hi I only have one 30cm Cube running as dismantling my other tanks at the moment as decorating the whole flat Getting new tanks and kit though So new Scapes coming soon
Doing a water change and a light trim on the cube tomorrow This one has till the end of June then a rescape New Scape name a touch of red
Today I did water changes on 'Colorado' and 'Approaching Snowdon'. Approaching Snowdon also had it's path cleared of Akadama grains. Both tanks pipes were cleaned too. Fish were fed in Colorado and the 7 stock tanks. Spent half an hour as a statue in front of the Zebra Plec tank
As soon as the water warms up in the water containers I will be doing a water change in the 75cm Shrimp tank.
90% water change on the 55gal
That is a big water change I assume you had a reason to do that?
Todays job was spray/feed the plants in the three Terrascapes.
75% is my weekly norm, and 90% once a month. The regime keeps my breeding Mbuna in first class condition.
That is one very good reason.
50% water change clean filter wipe down front panel inside and out trim few dying leaves remove dead snails again

Looked at my 90l low-energy (the only tank I have running at the mo') sighed...and thought how the heck I'm I gona move this, without loosing fish and plants, to my new address...
....but then I came up with a cunning plan
I strongly suggest you start another Topic for that and list every thing including distance and traveling time.
When its fully planned its not a difficult thing to do every thing depends on all your preparation detailed plans, also remember that is only one small part of shifting.
I think I've got it planned now
That's great all I can say is double check every thing and expect the unexpected.
I am just getting started and trying to create a good 1st scape, so I have spent the last few weeks trying to perfect it to my liking
