My plants JUST started pearling yesterday...

I am not saying that I don't think it is awesome, I'm just wondering -- What is the leading factor to my pearling java moss, crypts, and vals?

I have about 60w of CFL over my 10g. Dosing liquid Seachem ferts, and DIY co2. Lights on for about 10h a day.

the reason for plant pearling is that the water is rich on o2 and the new o2 produced by plants cant be absorbed any more so plants start pearling. is allways a good sign ;)

before that, the plant must be able to photosynthesis :p. No photosynthesis, no O2 generation.

Just to add that if your plants aren't pearling that it doesn't mean your plants aren't photosynthesising or growing. It just means they are producing a level that the water can absorb and therefore the O2 that forms the bubbles when this level is passed cannot be seen.

after a waterchange with tap water most plants do pearl, because the tap water is rich on o2 :-p

Yes that's true. Your plants can be very healthy and never pearl. True pearling is really based on what's going on inside the plant and not really weather the water itself is supersatured with o2.
