Water is getting cloudy

    Hi Team,
    My Fish tank is getting cloudy ( the color of the water is changing to white)
    It's getting cleared in morning and again it gets clouded in evening..
    I have provied my tank details below for your reference..

    Tank Size: 4 feet X 2 feet X 1.25 feet

    Plants kept: Rotala rotundifolia, Limnopholia Aromatica, Hydrocotyle verticillata, Ludwigia repens, Ludwigia ovalis, Cryptocoryne wendtii, Echinodorus tenellus, Glossostigma elatinoides, Bacopa monnieri, Eleocharis parvula

    Fish: Black Ruby Barb – 9 nos; Flying fox – 8 nos

    Substrate used: Contra Soil

    Filter used: JBL Cristal Profi e901

    CO2: 3KG Cylinder

    Lighting: T5 lights, 54W X 4

    Fan: 1 small fan

    Can someone please advice on this issue..i have even cleaned my filter..

    How long the tank been running? Bacterial bloom? Water change will not resolve anything need to run the cycle. Ammonia in water? Check if there's ammonia, if there is, over dose Prime will patch it temporarily.

    I have been having this planted tank for last 4 months...
    I have also updated the pictures for your reference...


    Please advice..

    Also how to check whether it is Bacterial bloom and what we have to do for it?

    Looks like green water. Ammonia is often main cause. You probably have an ammonia spike. Large water change will not cure it. 4 months still a young tank. The only time I beat this algae is to use UV that has a right watts for your tank and use it for a week or two.

    I just kill my lights and stop feeding until it clears. Then resume with less lighting and feeding. If it stays clear then increase the lighting. If it starts to cloud up again reduce the lighting.

    Until the tank stays clear.
