Waba - baba

    This is my first attempt to create wabi kusa. It is 3 months old.

    Light – sun through the window. Substrate – just gravel. Ferts – few drops weekly in to the water. No water change – just adding evaporated water. In the first month foil was on top of it.

    History of the Waba-baba:
    Creative phase: Arranging the branches in a limited space of a bowl.

    Setting up of fine gravel and Seriyu stones.

    back - a space for plants:

    Planting: I took submerged - emerged plant floating island from my big 240lit tank and put it under DW.
    It was a mix of HM-a, Micranthemum umbrosum and Ceratopteris Siliquoza. Later some Eleoharis, Rotala, Hydrocotyle sp Japan, Alternathera mini and mosses were added into the bowl. Lemna minor was introduced by accident, but i liked the carpet it started to form in front of Wabi, so I left it there.

    Returning drift wood to its initial position was like a 3D puzzle. Previously taken photos helped me a lot. I tried to make set up that looked nice from almost any angle. Here are 360 views:

    So the Lemna minor got there by accident :giggle: A happy accident :) Looks good i use this plant too :cool:
