uv sterilizer??¿?¿?

    algae algae algae....everywhere brown and green in color. i've read that a uv sterilizer will eliminate algae at least ''free floating particles'' of algae.

    For the most part, a UV sterilizer will rid you of your "green water" or cyanobacteria, but will do little else algae wise.

    It should be noted that in a new tank, excessive cyanobacteria is normal and will eventually work itself out over time (if you're patient).
