I recently bought a Fluval Spev 19 litre (5 gallon), my very first aquarium (eeeek!!!). Since I will be keeping it at a table, I want it to look decent from both sides. I have tried to google stuff like "two sided aquarium" to get some ideas, but I haven't been able to find much at all. Any ideas?

If you are going to that it will limit your choice of Aquascape it will have to be central other wise it could look unbalanced.

Try "Full view Aquascape" there are bound to be some there.

I saw a video once, its from the green machine, they scaped a very long tank and had a supers 360 view try: aquascape reciprocity on YouTube, the channel is related to the green machine.
Watching their video is always motivating but keep in mind its an aquascaping store so they don't really mind how much money they put in their display tank.. Also as keight said, KiS
You don't need all the additive they put in their substrate

Edit: here is the video I was talking about :)
A bit long but good narration and we can learn a lot from that.
