You certainly moved that along, yet it looks so natural, I would not use the path personally reason black medium with a white path it seems as if its trying to make it look unnatural.

    Hello Keith,

The thing is the white sand won't stay white for long, because of the lighting, it's already turned yellowish/brownish. :)

Alex with more plants and aging it will certainly mellow the path.

Wonderful Scape Alex, I only would prefer the path in the colour of the rocks.

I see a dog's face in the right root often - funny ;)

Here is the story behind this setup and more important, this aquarium. Back in the summer i told you guys i was entering a contest, Dennerle Scaper's Tank Contest. I couldn't get in the top 10 of my region to win a complete Dennerle Scaper's Tank so i could go on to stage 2 of the contest (that was the main rule to participate). Luckily, a fellow passionate romanian aquarist loved my setup so much that he thought of sponsoring me. So, i got the prize i was craving for, two months ago. Time was not on my side, having only about a month to get the tank ready for contest.

So, Dennerle Scaper's Tank Contest, 2nd stage this autumn, brought my 37th place (from a total of 50) :

That is a great photograph just the right back lighting for the sunrise/sunset effect.

Did you receive a written report on your Aquascape?
