A great Aquascape several concerns that big rock is it permanent or holding the DW into position?

All the small rocks across the front of you Aquascape appear to be very rigid and uninteresting.

It wants some shape in it.

The scattered small rocks is always a good idea it gives another dimension to your Aquascape.

    Thanks Keith ,

that big rock on the left is just for holding down the wood into position , it will be removed. :)

Hmm really ?! , I will try to see if I can modify a little bite that...also some of them will be covered with moss and growth of other plants so they will be less visible

P.S. Thanks for the suggestions. :)

When the moss and plants grow over the rocks it could look totally different.

Finally I managed to take out the rocks that were holding the wood in place, and it looks like this (Day 33) :

Still I have some white slime here and there on the wood , but it will pass in time.
The plants are starting to grow slow but well.
In conclusion everything goes as it should. :)

As the Aquascape ages it will certainly look a lot better.

A backing would greatly improve your presentation.

Remember wines must be well cared for to age well.

Looks great! I love the orange-ish stone. I feel like I'm just repeating myself, but buy a spray can of glass frosting, and coat the back pane of your aquarium, and put something white behind it. It would really make your aquascape pop! I think the bright background really makes greens and bright colored sand stand out. I'm no master, but from my studies, I find it's easier on the eyes with a bright background.

Thanks, yes it would look much better in the photo with a white background. I have a semi-transparent electrostatic background which I can put on when I wont to and I can put some light behind or a white panel. Maybe I will do so when I'm going to take a front pic with a DSLR , doesn't worth to bother when I'm still taking pictures with my phone and plus I like it better to not having any kind of background , it is more pleasant to watch. :)

P.S. you can obtain the same result (that nice white in the back) by using two flashes triggered simultaneously when taken the pic :)

I would like to soften that rock wall with planting if possible.

You could use low growing Crypts with a few medium height crypts in the rocky joining gaps, small leaf Anubia and mosses on the rocks.

Sunday I was bored so I decided to take a clip with my phone , so don't judge too much the quality.

    Hope you enjoy watching:

And by the way , if you like my tank please give me a VOTE +1
