Hi Ice, Fantastic ship build Congratulations to your wife
How many ships do you have, one thing for sure once finished easy to look after compared to Aquariums.
I took these photos a few years back they are Rainbow Lorikeet that come to our flowering gum tree every time when its in full flower which is now just before Christmas.
Hi Roy,My wife says thank you
You're right, only this for now, I hope soon to be one more
To create such a sailing ship she needed more than a year,
now has more experience, I hope that it will take much less time
Hi Keith,I've always been fascinated by the flora and fauna of Australia.
All your pictures are really greatI watched a documentary program about dangerous Australian animals,
it is true that this type of jellyfish(Irukandji) common in the waters of Australia, and dangerous for swimmers?
YES these stingers are in our northern warmer water, but that does not mean we do not have any nasties in our colder waters.
They do not have to be big to be dangerous either
Is that an octopus ( second picture ) ?
Yes it is. I only live a few minutes drive from the ocean and its full of dangers.
Wow, I have searched it, it is a blue-ringed octopus and it carries enough venom to kill 26 adult humans within minutes! And its size is up to 8inch.
Yes we have some very nasty nasties in Australia.
Keith Thank you very much for the interesting information.
