Ask the other UK members where they get their Seachem supplies or hunt the WWW.

    A little keeper tank.

I used it to grow on small plants.

This one is a 3 litre tank I've drilled to be like a breeder tank I've used it as a sort of grow tank for neons cory and guppy in the past think I might set up a shrimp tank now I quite like these 2

If you have the correct set up the Shrimps can breed faster than rabbits.

Also think about all the live bearers when they get bigger and breed it will not be long before you do not have any shrimps at all.

Its the fry that the bigger fish will snack on as long as they can hide they will be safe.

Also just after the Adults loose their old hard shell they can be snack food for the big fish.

Other than getting a different type of lighting system I do not think there is much you can do.

Can you regularly trim the plant this will encourage more growth.

    Fert tabs might also help.

Hi Keith I think I'm going to have to just wait to out and see what happens upgraded lights from t8 to t5 because I was told they are better for deep tanks there is plenty of root tabs and clay balls in substrate now everything is growing just not quite how it should be I don't even think switching to led would help because of how deep it is might be something to look into in the future

That is a very deep tank 75cm.

I don't think your lights are suitable for your tank.
