T5 tubes

    Fair enough but does that soil have all the necessary fertilizers for your plants?

    All your observations show a nitrogen deficiency.

    Another observation it is only showing up on the rooted plants.

    A few more things for you to think about.

    Hi Keith soil should have all the stuff in it needed I can't remember the name but it's a tetra product and it's mainly my ludwigia that is struggling all types pal, glad, and repens all have small leaves

    Hi Keith yes that's the one its been in close to 12 months I'm sure it's supposed to last 18 months plus depending on plant load I put root tabs in yesterday when I did cut back so will wait and see

    That is the problem with some of the substrates, they are excellent to start the plant growth when its new but after that if plant tabs.

    Over all is it worth it considering rooted plants are the plants that require the plant tabs not plants attached to DW etc.

    I'm hoping thats all it is that substrate is lacking abit and nothing more all water test were ok so fingers crossed

    Going by what you have mentioned it looks like the substrate has run out of all its goodies and now its the same as a plain substrate.

    I think that's a very strong possibility I've put enough tabs in for the next month will keep an eye on things and see how they go

    When I was using the Seachem fert tabs I added more every three months, double check your instructions.

    You can cut that runner off and then you can plant that baby plant.

    I've put root tabs under all the heavy root feeder going to try and get the seachem one next time but no one near me stocks them and it's proving to be a challenge getting them
