You heard me, I need maybe one or two invert safe fish to toss in my tank to get my CPD's to dither?

Plantbrain mentioned he tossed 40 in his Manzigumi and they were like ghosts he seldom saw. Well I agree the 22 or so in my tank now stay pretty well hidden a lot so far, I dont mind too much as this tank intends to be a primarily shrimp inhabited tank it's just right now while I am saving for my shrimp started population purchases its still a little empty in there  and I wish the CPD's would come out of the caves and alcoves a little more and frolic in the foreground .

    Any suggestions?

Eventually, your CPDs will likely start coming to the front a little bit more, especially when they come to understand the location of feeding time, right in front. I would suggest that my favorite invert-friendly fish are dwarf corys, and of the main 3 varieties, but they often tend to be hiders as well. However, if you were going to throw in, let's say 40 pygmaeus, then maybe they'd be brave enough in numbers to always want to entertain. I would steer clear of other corys unless you are not concerned about their ability to uproot HC though.

In the wild I seem to remember reading they naturally pair with a danio sp. but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. Will try and find out now.
Dwarf cories is a good suggestion though, they're great little fish.

I have kept these fish and they are quite shy themselves and very similar to CPD's. I have been trying to find some shrimp safe little fish who aren't skittish for a bit and it has been a bit of a challenge. I've tried ruby tetras however they are shy as well. It seems when you get to those really small fish duck and hide is their mantra. I think numbers may be your best bet or a larger schooler who isn't as shy.

larger schoolers I have found to be shrimp safe: porkchop rasboras and blue neon rice fish aka daisy's rice fish

Rice fish. That is a great suggestion thanks on that one. And yeah I actually received a few of those Danio Etythromicron in my bag when I bought this lot of 20+ CPD's on Aqua Bid, they were tossed in the mix. They are nice and I think I did even mention I may dozen in my initial fish list on my Journal. I do like them But yet they too are just as shy as the CPD's I notice as the one I have thinks its a CPD I think since it the only one among the rest of the CPD's. I will look at some rice fish as an option. Thank ShadowMac
