    Hey everyone again,
I want to share my new setup made in 2012-06..
    It's standart 90x45x45 optiwhite tank.
So during setup I add about 40 kg local stone material, also local wood found in bottom of the lake. It took about half of the day to locate aquarium from my old home to new one with all aquarium setup.
    It's still in progress..

    Day 1..

    Hey ;),

GREAT hardscape but I think it would look much better without the Cryptos in the background. Maybe Eleocharis acicularis could be an alternative? I think you could also remove the HC and Eleocharis in the foreground. The sand looks much better without them ;).

    Keep on updating

Thank you for opinion, but foreground i will not change.. It's need to grow up. In the back i will add some stems. There is still some space left for them, I think about rotala sp. vietnam and hemianthus glomeratus tandem with cryptos..
I dont prefer traditional only stem planting for background. It's becoming boring and would love to see another tank where small brown cryptos ( c. wendtii brown )are used in the back. I did not find any tank yet. ;)
I did not mention about made planting change in the middle.. To make better transition from dark green moss colour, I add some hydrocotyle tripartita 1 week ago..

I love your use of the cryptos. For other who want cryptos in the background i can recommend c.undulata. It can grow really tall under right circumstances.

    Hey Yankadi!

Yep, another scape that knocks me to the ground. (y)
I've learned to give you some credits, although it sometimes might look a little strange in the beginning, the outcoming of your tanks is allways very natural.
    Must be a "landscape-gardener-thing" ;)

I hope, the hydrocotyle tripartita is not too invasive, otherwise you'll have a lot to do....

    cheers
    Eva

    OT:
I don't see the reason to have a tank in a bedroom, it just makes no sense (especially with that nice girlfriend)

    hey yankadi,

i love your new layout (y), but i agree with FloM.... the Cryptos are distroying the depth effect, cause of the to big leafs.
Everything else is fantastic and i m looking forward to see this scape developing. So keep us update with a lot more fantastic pictures.

    cheers

    Thanks for all,
Flo, crypts here are not alone! They are together with micranthenum umbrosum, rotala sp. vietnam and lilaeopsis sp., some glossostigma elatinoides, and echinodorus tennellus. But its true that is different from numbers of other scapes, and use of these crypts here is challenging to create harmony atmosphere with all depth details. Hope other plants will help to do that and I will be glad with results.

    Gamma,
aquarium at bedroom is better than bedroom without aquarium. Same thing with girlfriend.. LOL :) And it's true that she helped me a lot with setup of this scape. We collected 40 kg stones for this scape together, so she don't mind for aquarium standing at bedroom..
Hydrocotyle tripartita is really fast, but it makes more flexible aquarium system at this scape, at this stage of scape life. Same thing here with limnobium laevigatum and salvinia natans.. While other plants here are not so big, there are no big amount of them or they are not very fast growing it makes some balance for easy care..

    Hey Yankadi!

    Of course, development is great!
But you really should remove at least the half of the tripartita...
It's a sting in my eye, some accents, ok, but not so much...

    cheers
    Eva

p.s.: why is your site not available for me in english?

    gamma,
i will do some trimming, hydrocotyle is too strong growing plant, so I will definitely trim this weed.. I liked this work of Piotr Dymowski from Poland and his use of tripartita.. All in OK. ;) I will try do the same but in my way. ;)
    tri[artia.jpg
Google translate is working ;) plantscape.lt is in lithuanian language so try translate it.. Its working for me in every language that google translation makes.

    mr_ED,
    thank you ;)

    Hey Yankadi!

I told you, I've already learnt to give you some credits...!
But what do you mean by "All in OK"?
I just don't get it, sorry!

    cheers

I mean, that use of tripartita in my shown picture is without any criticism, and that is my goal to reach.

    Hey Yankadi!

Sorry for that, now I see, which direction you'll go.
But for me, your layout is more dark, just like a hidden place in the woods, I can't describe it due to my lack of language...

Please, don't take to long time for the next update...

    cheers
    Eva

All that "chaos" becomes in something really natural and good looking. Love it ;)
