Keep an eye of the Java Fern as they can grow very quickly and big if you do not keep it trimmed in a small tank.

I like the big chunky substrate it blends in so well

To me its the perfect KIS tank

Hi All, went on a bug hunt yesterday along local stream :) And found some shrimp water lice and best of all two little bullheads :D After adjusting water and temp over two three hours released into tank .Think fish will eat the shrimp as is part of there natural diet :( but will see .So far all well:) The shrimp and lice went in to hiding and the bullheads had a look round and then found there hiding place Along the DW But got a pic first of them in the open :D (y)Cheers roy 017.JPG

One MASSIVE WARNING live blood worms can bring many nasties into a tank.

I only use the frozen type a lot safer that way.

All live foods can cause problems its not so much the food its self its how they live and where they came from long before they arrive at the LFS.

Many grow their own and only that way would you know how safe they are.
