Yes! Its done, now I have to test..........
Enjoy the tank!
I'm still undecided with my 120.
Have the fish list picked out and partially done.
I'd suggest waiting a long time for the hardscape and thinking about what you like. Play around with it first. If you are into dutch styles and more plant focus rather than the hardscaping........then you do the same thing with the plant groups and can set the tank up sooner perhaps.
Leak test are always fun
But not so much when I set up sumps.
I like the sump set up best.
I had a tank with an in line canister at 6 ft of head, leaks sucked and are very tough to fix at higher head pressure. The tank as 12 years old and the PVC started to crumble. Huge problem. The system has only the sump now and works much better.
As the pressure from clogging increases, the venturi pressure also changes, so you get more suction.
So give it thought, take your time, even then, you might change your mind later and do not beat yourself up over that eitherroud:
My first leak test had one leak at a union I forgot to Teflon tape. Quickly closed valves, got wet, taped, then re-installed.
Now time for leak test #2..
I do plan to go very slow with the plant selection and hard scape, come to think of it I don't even know what Im going to do.
Thanks for the words of encouragement Tom, Im going to need it!
Here is an update..Keep in mind Im no Aquascaper like the rest of you folks.
Im just a collector/farmer..farmer of many living things
It still has tons of filling in to go, I tend to grow things like Butterfly gardens
looks good roud:
