Ive started to tear down my 150G High 48x24x30 tank and go a little smaller.
Im having a friend make a 120G 48x24x24 Acrylic tank with bulk heads drilled in the bottom. So here is the plan and tell me what you think..

Tank, Acrylic with 4 bulkhead's via bottom. One set for my 2262 and the other for my Danner needle wheel/mazzie CO2 feed.

Substrate, Aaron T mineralized soil deal.......

    Lighting, 48" T5 54wx8, 2 switches..With noon burst of all 8

One setup I've never done is one with bulkheads on the bottom. Obviously you'll have to scape around it so you don't see them, but will it cause problems with everything getting sucked into it.

I will have prefilter type screens on the inlets, this will be heavily planted so I don't think hiding the bulkheads will be to hard.
The outlets will be DIY of some kind, but again lots of plants and some wood work or rock for a hard scape..

Well Stephen has started the tank:)..Its going to be 2 weeks before its done so I have time to plan plumbing and placement.
I need some inspiration for the tank so maybe heading over to the springs would help.
Or, maybe Toms Cypress (world famous)...

Ok...The tank will be done next week, as soon as I get the word I will go pick it up.
For now I have finished my CO2 Feed system.

This will be powered by a GenX pump, the pump will be used only to power the Mazzei. The filtration will be completely seperate from the Mazzei..:)

Its fun for about 5 minutes. Plumbing with Spa Flex and pvc can really test your limits. I can barely type my hands are so swollen:)
