Guys, I went to vegas last weekend and came back to a cloudy tank. I did a 10% water change on tuesday and a 50% water change yesterday. The water is still cloudy. The fishes are all still healthy and seems like they are not getting phase by it. What can I do to fix this?? Is there any treatment I should get? Please help! TIA

So yesterday I did the substrate change and cleaned the filter and hoses. Took about 4 hours for the whole process. Fish are healthy and happy. welp, lets get it going...

    Started out like this...

Then took the pea gravel out and added the substrate. Now its filling time!

    Now the planting...

Took pictures this morning and the water was still a little cloudy.

I think its the same problem I had prior to the substrate change. Hopefully it clears up when I get home. I'm going to add leaf litter today. Hopefully the cories dont burry it with the new substrate. I doubt they will cause its looks heavier than the sand.

    C&Cs are always welcomed!!

i think you should plant is some more, go for some echinodorus tenellus 'narrow' and some small swords like echinodorus parviflorus sp 'tropica'

Yeah, I need something that will grow mid-high range. something to fill in the back spaces.

Get the ozelot, they are amazing! If you don't want to try purigen, you might try filter floss. I saw your pic at apc, and was surprised to see the changes, I like it. The blue ram pics are awesome.

Thanks Carole! Its weird, I have 3 males and no females and they school with each other. Sometimes theres a little scuffle but for the most part they are friends with each other. I dont know if thats normal but I think its pretty cool.

Im going to try the purigen stuff when I get back from vegas this weekend. As for the Ozelot, Im picking up some Potamogeton Gayi this sunday. I was thinking of picking up some ozelot before but we'll see after this sunday.
