    Hello all,

I'm a huge betta fan. I just found these pictures and thought I would share it with everyone.

It appears this photographer shoots fish exclusively. The pictures are quite remarkable.

That photographer is certainly no beginner it would be interesting to see how he sets every thing up to get them to flare up like that.

    Keith,

Probably his biggest tool is patience. Aside from using a mirror, I'm sure he just has to wait till the fish moves in the right way to start snapping.

I good high speed camera and an excellent macro lens would certainly help.

He might only keep a very small percentage of what he shoots any way.

    Keith,

He possess many things I do not, patience, good camera, quality lenses, talent, an artists eye, and a betta. All I have is a mirror.

    Roy!

I'm one up. I got a betta last night. I couldn't stand looking at those beautiful pictures anymore. My other fish have been quarantined for 6 weeks. image.jpg

Here he is in his quarantine tank.

I don't know. There is a nice looking one at the store. She is the same patten as him, but more brilliantly colored.

It was strange to me too. I'm not sure why it was flipped. I thought maybe it was like how the eye works or a telescope. Then I thought, maybe I'm over thinking it. But, I haven't seen any other thumbnails that are flipped on this site. Just my luck :notworthy:

    Roy,

I have only one quarantine tank and it's only one gallon. I'll just wait. Plus, I'm not sure I want baby bettas. (n)

    Hey Roy,

I have news! That day came; I bought the female I was talking about earlier.

    image.jpg

She is for Welby's betta tank that I set up yesterday, though. She is pretty.

Argh! Why do they keep loading upside down?! She is good looking. He named his bettas Jules and Vern.
