Anyone using SHIRUBA XB305? Is the pump powerful enough to connect to a chiller?

    Sorry for the extra questions.

Its a filter not a pump are you going to use it as a filter as well?

Or are you going to remove all the filter medium and use it as a pump only?

Its capable of pumping Max 440L/H with out the medium.

By getting all these answers a member who uses a chiller should be able to assist you.

Yes it will have a filter pump with an active filter the 440L/H could be reduced.

The next question is have you selected a chiller if so what is it?

the specs on the chiller indicate an 1800 liter/hour minimum so I am assuming that filter will not be sufficient for the chiller to function properly. In general I would not plumb anything inline with such a small filter and pump.

that being said, it looks like a good little filter. I purchased a Toms aquatics rapids mini that the seals went out on. This one is very similar but looks to be of better design and make.
