Reactor installed and now running on a ph controller

It took forever and two trips to Lowe's to fix the leaks. Broke off one adapter and was short some tubing. Finally no leaks.

The reactor looks slick, the new model has a purple tinted chamber and they modified the cord for the internal pump.

Don't know if it will be ready. I've added some crypts and stems. Probably won't have enough growth by the deadline

Exactly. I think I need to be ahead a few scapes to really enter regularly. I will have a couple good options from my smaller tanks. I think my 30 cm nano will be ready for an entry. Not gonna be a winner..but it'll be a nice little scape.

That the main thing its your tank in your home.

Personally I think many trophy hunters create Aquascape for that purpose only certainly not for private pleasure.

The twinstar works well controlling green algae. What us on the rocks was there before the twinstar. If you notice the rock at the bottom left has almost no algae. It was flipped a couple weeks ago and with the twinstar algae isn't growing on it. Keeps the glass clear of GDA. A biofilm still develops, but no green dust algae. I would say it works well.
