naah! I completely agree that light and kelvin rating too does matter! super awesome blyxa color..! it signifies that it's at it's pinnacle growth..:D blyxa flowering..ooh..now that's a truly beautiful sight. For me I wouldn't replace the H. pinnatifida completely, it's leafy structure gives a nice color contrast, amania is nice, but for me the leaf structure or the distance between individual plant-let nodes is a bit more and there might kindof create a bit of light dissipation during shoot. HC would be a welcome add IMO though..:) And 90P teaser looks real nice as well..:) looking forward to that as well..:)

Been a while since I last updated this. The scape is still going. When I was away over the holidays it really got overgrown and some thread algae got into a lot of things, so I chopped it way down and hope things grow back nicely. I also moved the staurogyne again...can't find a place where I like it.

    Thank you!

The aquasky retails for around $250 USD. It was a gift from my wife. I am fairly certain there will be off brand models to follow the aquasky with similar power. The light is very bright and puts out a lot of PAR, I still haven't got a hold of a PAR meter to measure though. The rotala singapore gets very pink under the light. Regular maintenance is a must with this light.

2013-03-23 18.01.46.jpg I will be entering this tank into the 2013 IAPLC. I think my final photos have come out fairly well thanks to some great help in photography. I may do one more round of photographs and choose my favorite from the 2 sessions.

Thanks guys, this is the first scape I have felt was good enough to deserve a contest entry. I've made a few minor adjustments for my next photo session, hopefully at the end of this month. I think it will improve. I am happy with the photo I was able to get from the above round of pictures. I will share it here as soon as I can.

I have to say I really like the aquasky. It is a strong light with great color rendering. CO2 is a must...I recently had something go wrong with the CO2 supply and quickly had stunting, so I retrimmed shortly after that to remove the stunted tips. New growth is on track for the end of this month.

I'm also hoping to be able to share a good photo of my 90p sometime in the next couple months. That one has been a bit more of a challenge.

Thank you! I'm very happy with this scape. My wife doesn't want me to take it down when we move. I told her it is time to try something new, but I will be sad to see it go. The AquaSky really pulled some great colors out of these plants.

saving for a 120H at the moment...

The AquaSky really does work. I can't get the same results from my ATI, but I suspect I need to increase the lighting and improve CO2 consistency in my 90p. So much easier in a small tank.

bad brief video of the tank running. I need to figure out how those guys get stellar videos uploaded. Youtube murdered the video quality. Lighting is also a little yellow...
