It's perfectly clean and beautiful
I liked it very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Incredibly clean and beautiful!!!!
Many thanks guys. really, for the kind words.
@ 2.5 weeks old, things are settling down nicely now. I've trimmed the rotala and other stems as they were racing ahead of everything else.
The HC, is starting to flourish now apart from one corner.(lack of light)
here's a couple of snaps.
here's looking in the mirror.
Hi, great scape and beautiful light - what bulbs are you using???
Second photo is real art :=D>
Can you post photograph a larger format?
I'm using osram skywhite 880 t5 tubes. There brilliant IMO
Thanks pejc. when the tank starts to mature, i'll take some 'proper' photos with flash etc and upload hi res.
A 5 week update.
The stems have gone through 2 rounds of trimming in just 4 weeks. A few issues with the right side regards to co2 etc, but I'm over that now and everything is growing good now.
here's how the tank is looking @ 5 weeks. The stems have just been trimmed so it looks slightly wrong at the moment
Really good scape n layout there Mark, could you post some detail about the left side? i'm curious abaout the plant there. And how much wattage of lighting 880 shywhite 54w T5HO there?
Your CO2 is injected?
You fertelized with what?
Mark, something I always wanted to know about manzanita wood, does it float or not?
if yes, how do you attached them?
jur4ik, yes it does float but soaking over night eliminates this. i just then bury it in the substarte or hold it down with a stone.
The tank is co2 injected and i'm using EI fertilisation. Light wise it's just 2 x 54wt5 for 8 hours.
The plant to the left is teres. larger than tennellus but travels in the same way.
i've trimmed the HC tonight and tidy the left side.
my son thought it was a good idea to put stickers on the door.:-s
I have ordered some Manzanita from US, got tired looking for suitable wood over here ..
2x54 w T5HO thats very helpfull mark. I notice the right side HC a little bit slow grow compare to the left side. But overall the whole plant look healthy. Very good work mark
Perhaps Mr. Saintly could update this journal with the final pics ?
I will try to ask him. Would be nice to see.
This is beautiful, great job!
Oh Guys, i completeley forgot about this thread.
