    Keith,

I'm definetly looking forward to setup a new nano aquarium, with a lot more details, an even better hardscape. It'll be in an another location so i'll have to set some things before getting to work.
This one will surely have a few more months to live, so i can play with the plants even more.

You are aiming for that elusive perfection and by what you are doing I don't think its that far off.

Many members must be wondering how you are getting those fantastic Macro Photos. Can you explain it to them plus any photos where necessary thank you.

    Keith,

My Canon 450D seems to do a pretty good job, of course with the help of the set of macro rings i bought. I do take a lot of photos before ending up with a good one, but it's much more easier with a DSLR.

I used to take pics with a small Benq camera, a few years ago, but the quality was far from this ( not that i don't have to improve anymore).
So, i have 3 types of rings i can attach to the body : 13mm, 21mm and 31mm. I can use them separately or combined.

For shrimps, fish and mainly close ups i'm working in macro mode.
For full tank shots i tend to use the Manual and play around with it, rarely go for Full Auto, when i'm on the run and just want to take some pics of it.

P.S. : I do use ACDSee Photo Studio whenever i need to do crops, borders, resizing and more.

They look like a very good set of Macros you have. I have a set of Lenses somewhere I must dig them out.
Do those lenses attach directly to the camera where mine fitted to my Macro lens.

Its starting to fill in slowly now and this is giving it a more natural appeal.

That is a very beautiful flower, what is it's actual size and, where is it in the tank?

    Thanks, Keith!
It's quite small and seems to last forever. It grew outside of the water for a few days because i didn't manage to the water change in time and water level got kind of low.
I'll look for a photo with the whole thing, it was on the right side where i have a bunch near the surface (bright light seems to encourage flowering).
