    Riparium Bonsai 5.5G

I'm working on another new setup that will incorporate a riparium bonsai tree. The one that I have going right now features a bonsai Montezuma cypress tree and it's doing great.

I am still trying to figure out what kind of plant to use as the bonsai tree with this new idea. I have two different small trees here already that will probably work well: 1. Swamp Rose (Rosa palustris) 2. Buttonwood (Conocarpus erectus). Both of these are real swamp plants and they should grow well.

I think I have a good idea for fish stocking.

I'm going to build a rimless tank for this new setup, but it will be even smaller than the one I am using with the Montezuma cypress. I plan to make a tank that will hold about 5.5 gallons of water and with a more compact shape as well.

I hope to have more updates on the way pretty soon.
