Should be healthy.
Thank you for posting that information
You may be concerned if you see small bubbles forming under the leaves of your live plants however you should really give yourself a pat on the back for doing a sterling job of keeping live tropical plants!
There are 2 reasons why this could be happening:
Strong water current that contains a lot of air bubbles
Photosynthesis is taking place. In this case the plant is taking carbon dioxide from the water and making oxygen in the form of the bubbles you see. Some aquarium keepers call this “pearling”
Neither case is anything to worry about and certainly if it is the second cause then you are doing a good job of keeping tropical plants and will have a thriving healthy luscious planted aquarium.
Hi keith nice information and thanks.
Im not using power filters, and my filter is hang on filter and running slow. I think my plants are healthy and happy.
Im planing to buy a 5ft tank and planning on iwagumi scape on that.

Long before you start the Iwagumi do a massive amount of research for the Iwagumi other wise it could easily be just another Aquascape with rocks and plants.
1,180 days from the beginning...
Your tank is developing very nicely BUT beware it can easily become a jungle if not regularly neatly trimmed.
Thank you Keith,
plants grow rapidly,I am going to do today trimming
I love that overhead shot, so lush looking. Very nice.
Could we have a close up shot from the front? Plants look very healthy, Good Job!!
Regular light trimming is the easiest way to go.
Something like on the previous page, I do not have the necessary equipment for this type of photography.
That is a pity close ups can be very interesting.
something like Alex's work, it is simply a feast for the eyes
If I remember Alex does not have a big whiz bang camera he has practiced many times to perfect those photos.
Hi Icethunder, Fantastic
I got today rotala macrandra and rotala nanjenshan, new photos coming soon
Your tank is filling in very nicely now just keep on top of the light trimming.
You certainly have a very beautiful well maintained colorful tank something to be proud of.
