I got more pictures to post and a video I the tank. The show was amazing, really well organized an the speakers very inspiring. Amano was good, but Claus and Christell stole the show, they were superb!

Amano scapes so fast that it is a lesson just to look at how he does it.

    Your photos are amazing Juri!
I took a lot - but with my iPhone, just as a sort of "notetaking" to remember some of the more inspiring details.
I agree with Luis, Claus and Christel was a wonderful addition. I will forward your words to Claus when I see him again. Christel is amazing - she easily answered all my questions. I am getting the book for sure.
The weekend was a vitamin shot for the hobby for me, I met some great people and now I found two forums I have never visited. A lot of great ideas for my new cubes.

Thanks to those of you who came all that way for the AAF 75th birthday!

    Cheers,
    Karina.

I have uploaded my photos to Flickr, will get them on the forum during the week.

I am a big fan of Claus and Christel, their talks are always so full of information. The guy that talked about the shrimp and corydoras was also very good. Great explorers.

Thanks Flo! - this is a great place! Some amazing journals, - I now have more ideas than I have aquariums (and time) to realize!

Juri. I look forward to seeing more, when you get them uploaded. And to see what you bring to Hannover.. ;-)

Luis, you mean Hans-Georg Evers. He is brilliant. Did you get a copy of his Amazonas magazine? There is a big article with a lot of the Sulawesi shrimps he also talked about. A few garnelen for the wish list in there.. :-"

The guppies were amazing, pitty I did not managed better pictures. I wonder where can one get such fish in the uk.

I had the sword tail guppies about 20 years ago, but have not seen them since, so it was a great pleasure to see such specimens displayed.

Would be a bad idea. The issue is getting virgin females, they store male sperm for a long time, so would need to import both, male an female.

Do you have any contacts? I would like to setup a small breeding colony. The fish were really amazing.
