Quick questions!!!

    do you suggest in me investing in a heater i agree the water is cold at the moment but in a month or two the temperatures are going to surge way past 40C outside here so indoors i belive it should be fine wouldnt it?

    40°C outside should be enough to keep your tank inside warm enough - however for a long term you will have to keep this tank with a constant water temp threw the cold period too so I would buy a heater anyway!

    What is with your guppy? is it better now?

    Is that the true color in those images? Are the spots a deep red like that or a lighter pinkish? I had some fish with lighter pinkish spots and it was due to being stressed out about the water conditions not staying steady. Let us know how the filter works out and I agree with Jur4ik about the heater- the temp of the water needs to be always be the same during all the seasons.
