So I'm working on rescapping my 90 gallon tank this weekend. I will be taking some plants from my 55 gallon before I put it up for sale and I'm trying to figure out what is the best Amazon Swords to keep. When I bought the 90 Gallon it came with 3 of them but I also have 2 in my 55. The two in my 55 gallon have a very large root system where the ones in the 90 gallon are about half the size. Is it better to have a larger root system (root ball) or a smaller one? Or doesn't it matter? Thanks!
How long can a piece of string can be? this is that sort of question. There are many types of echinodorus, some small, some large, some have large rootballs and some don't. First decide what echinodorus you want, then choose the healthiest. Shiny leaves, good whole leaves, good size and good color are all indications of a good healthy plant. ___________________________ I don't know what is the secret of success, but the secret of failure is trying to please the world!
