    Hi,

    Welcome to ASW.

Great tank! I like the way you arranged the stones. I would like to see background plants following the hardscape shape.

    Cheers,

    LMA

    hi ionut,

:welcome: to ASW. i like your layout. it s allways difficult to hide the juwel filter and get a good shape in the scape. you did very good.
rotala could need more light to turn red. why not using juwel reflector? anyway, keep up this good work :113:

    cheers

Your rocks are great! Your plants are healthy, and your seashore is lush. My only critique is that you have trimmed the rotala straight across. This has divided the tank into two equal rectangles- one is lush and green the other is the darks space behind. It visually flattens your scape and gives an impression of wieght and pressure. This could be the strong black background. Maybe another color would help. I hope that wasn't too harsh. Other then that and I think that you have alot going for this tank. I am very jealous of your UG. best wishes---R

    Thank all for your appreciations.

@ Flo - I use JBL reflectors. In my opinion, these are better then Juwel. The colour of rotalla dependes on how much light the plant receives. I have reduced the lightning time from 10 to 8 hours because I wanted them to be green. I like to play whit colours.

@ randy0319 - The scape pictures doesn't represent the final form of the tank. It wasn't too harsh, I appreciate all the opinions and critics.
P.S.: Please, look at the final photo.

Now, I want to show you the evolution of my tank in images:

you have dark volcanic rock and dark background why not use
cardinal tetra the blue/red/white colors will, i guess, standout with that kind of setting. you may also include rummynose.
