Hy guys, I'm just preparing my next move, new scape is coming during next weeks. I really don't intend to keep this layout for much time; anubias spent too much time to grow and I've an hell of a job trimming HC all the time. So, I decide to not continue with this layout. I let you with an updated picture of this layout and as soon I take the final shot I will share with you. One Step Closer 60L por Faao.FilipeOliveira, no Flickr Cheers, FAAO
Another beautiful tree from "the lord of the trees".It's a pity you're going to dismantle this tank : the idea is original and it would be interesting to see the mature version of the tree....but I understand that it would really take a long long time.
Thank you guys for the comments and compliments. This layout never pleased me totally because it's very hard to transmit my thoughts and it's very difficult to take a picture where I can show the true vision of it. I never expected and it wasn't my intention to have too much volume on the top of the tree as previous layouts, but have only few branches falling into the water. Even using Anubias nana mini "petit", they are too big for that, I thought they were much smaller than really are. Anyway, I did my best and tried to use something different in a common scape that you are sick of see from me. My next layout will be very different and I can assure you that is not a tree scape!!! Finally!!!! Cheers, FAAO
Hi Guys, Thanks for your comments and compliments! ;-) Hi Juri, To be honest I will not say that will be the last... but for sure I will not do it again so soon!!! I'm getting sick of it People will appreciate it! I really don't know which kind of wood is that... I found it on the forest, I liked it and after several treatments I decided to use it. The small branches are from a different type of wood but from the same place as the main piece. They are tied on the main piece with plastic ties. I don't know if I answered to your doubt ?! Thanks! ;-) I took the final pictures during last week and here they are. I've used Canon 50mm F/1.8 as lense for this one: One Step Closer 60L Final Picture por Faao.FilipeOliveira, no Flickr And Tokina 12-24mm Atx Pro for this: One Step Closer 60L Final Picture por Faao.FilipeOliveira, no Flickr Which you like most? I've done also a video, you can see it here: One Step Closer 60L - The final chapter - YouTube [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHWK7VwcBIo"]One Step Closer 60L - The final chapter - YouTube[/ame] Ps. Anyone knows the code to add a video instead of the link? Best regards, FAAO
Hi, All the information about the tank is on the last video. If you want I can just add it here ;-) Cheers, FAAO
:hi:....watched the video to satisfy my curiosity hahahah [tank size in cm: L55 x W35x H35]gracias!:yo:
Well done Filipe! I think the one shot with the wideangle is better. There's a little more ripple that can be seen. I kind of feel envious that growing HC is so easy for you. LOL
Hi Guys, Thansk a lot for the feedback ;-) Stan, don't be! Do you have problems in growing HC? Today I'm dismounting this layout and tomorrow if everything runs as planed, I will bring some news! New scape, no trees and awesome hardscape! Lets see what I can do with what I have here!!!!
Hi Juri, This will not be the unique aquarium that I will change! I'm preparing also some major changes on my 350L Discus tank that you can see on the picture below. It has more than 18 months and it is time to Rescape it also. Will be two crazy days 350L Final Shot por Faao.FilipeOliveira, no Flickr Meanwhile, I also rescaped my Niece's aquarium with some plants from both of them ;-) Take a look: _MG_2355 por Faao.FilipeOliveira, no Flickr It means that I will have lot of news on the following days ;-) Cheers,
I too prepare to plant the 3 nano cubes next week. Can't wait to see yours rescaped PS: got the youtube video inserted properly, had to search it manually on youtube and than simply copy and paste the url, somehow the URL from the channel doesn't work .. by the way, are you going to Hannover 2012?
Hi Filipe, I do have trouble growing HC as we do not naturally have cool weather. Just balmy 29-31C all year round except for monsoon where it can get to 26C in general. Not a big problem though- a chiller or air conditioning fixes this. Do you get a lot of melting in initial stages from emersed to submersed? I find this happens a lot for newly setup tanks with aquasoil. Sorry for long post. Good luck with the new rescapes- nice to start them young.
Hello it's really a very beautiful tree realization. My favorite among those you do. The most original, with Anubias, (although not easy to manage) The final two photos are superb. Congratulations and thank you. Sorry for my English :ehhh:
