    Hy guys,

I'm just preparing my next move, new scape is coming during next weeks. I really don't intend to keep this layout for much time; anubias spent too much time to grow and I've an hell of a job trimming HC all the time. So, I decide to not continue with this layout. I let you with an updated picture of this layout and as soon I take the final shot I will share with you.

Another beautiful tree from "the lord of the trees":).It's a pity you're going to dismantle this tank : the idea is original and it would be interesting to see the mature version of the tree....but I understand that it would really take a long long time.

Thank you guys for the comments and compliments.
This layout never pleased me totally because it's very hard to transmit my thoughts and it's very difficult to take a picture where I can show the true vision of it.
I never expected and it wasn't my intention to have too much volume on the top of the tree as previous layouts, but have only few branches falling into the water.
Even using Anubias nana mini "petit", they are too big for that, I thought they were much smaller than really are. Anyway, I did my best and tried to use something different in a common scape that you are sick of see from me.

My next layout will be very different and I can assure you that is not a tree scape!!! Finally!!!! :)

    Cheers,

    FAAO

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for your comments and compliments! ;-)
Hi Juri, To be honest I will not say that will be the last... but for sure I will not do it again so soon!!! I'm getting sick of it :)
    People will appreciate it!

I really don't know which kind of wood is that... I found it on the forest, I liked it and after several treatments I decided to use it.
The small branches are from a different type of wood but from the same place as the main piece. They are tied on the main piece with plastic ties. I don't know if I answered to your doubt ?!

    Thanks! ;-)

I took the final pictures during last week and here they are.

I've used Canon 50mm F/1.8 as lense for this one:

And Tokina 12-24mm Atx Pro for this:

    Which you like most?

I've done also a video, you can see it here:

Ps. Anyone knows the code to add a video instead of the link?

    Best regards,

Well done Filipe! I think the one shot with the wideangle is better. There's a little more ripple that can be seen.

I kind of feel envious that growing HC is so easy for you. LOL

    Hi Juri,
This will not be the unique aquarium that I will change!
I'm preparing also some major changes on my 350L Discus tank that you can see on the picture below. It has more than 18 months and it is time to Rescape it also. Will be two crazy days :)

I too prepare to plant the 3 nano cubes next week.
Can't wait to see yours rescaped :)

PS: got the youtube video inserted properly, had to search it manually on youtube and than simply copy and paste the url, somehow the URL from the channel doesn't work .. by the way, are you going to Hannover 2012?

    Hi Filipe,

I do have trouble growing HC as we do not naturally have cool weather. Just balmy 29-31C all year round except for monsoon where it can get to 26C in general.
Not a big problem though- a chiller or air conditioning fixes this.

Do you get a lot of melting in initial stages from emersed to submersed? I find this happens a lot for newly setup tanks with aquasoil.

    Sorry for long post.

Good luck with the new rescapes- nice to start them young. :)

    Hello
it's really a very beautiful tree realization.
My favorite among those you do.
The most original, with Anubias, (although not easy to manage)
The final two photos are superb.
    Congratulations and thank you.

    Sorry for my English :ehhh:
