Hello, I just dismantled my 3 gal picotope and was considering on getting into aquascaping. I have experience with keeping a 20 gal but that's with just a planted fish tank with more of a focus on the fish. I'm not sure where to start or look into when attempting to attain those beautiful lush green tanks that look as if they are environment on land. So where should I start?

    I have my old filter
JEBO Aquarium - Aquarium Bio Filter 501

    as well as lamp
JEBO Aquarium - Small Aquarium Light with Holder 13 Watt

is this enough for a tank? Should I consider other things such as C02 or a different filter/lamp? Would there perhaps happen to be any online guides that I could refer to for basic advice for setting up one of these bad boys? I feel like the process is more difficult and complex since it requires a very delicate balance compared to normal planted tanks. Any advice for a beginner on the subject would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi, welcome to ASW :hi:

you might need a heater too.. there some mini models available
no pressurized co2 on such a small tank. easy carbo will do the job - this is liquid carbon
as jenks said before a special soil is very important, ADA aquasoil ie
micro and macro ferts, ie from pfertz
    thats all - rock it!
