The shrimp fry and the Ottos will certainly like moss growth for cover.

The more you trim the moss the thicker it should grow.

Glad to hear you are having fun that's what our hobby is all about

Lowtech is a great way of learning how plants grow and how to look after them. You are doing a fantastic job. Crisp clean tank great hardscape healthy plants and critters nice photos too. What more could one want (y)

By the appearance of your aquascape, healthy plants and great looking shrimp plus all low tech you will learn all the basics first and when you are ready you can progress slowly to high tech.

So many want it now and head straight into high tech and usually disaster and wonder why.

Its great to see you are enjoying and sharing your hobby.

Thanks guys really appreciate the grate feedback :)

yeah its grate fun like iv said iv kept a successful hightech iwagumi in my last prodject before I went marine.
But required too much maintenance and frequently trimming like every 3:4days as an example,
in the end it to the point I didn't have the time as was starting another job :/

Once I started my new job and got setteld I when for a lowtech marine to widen my experience ; )
I closed that down after a coupel of year as been helping my lady out after coming back from uni.

With this lil chi prodject I chose the lowtech route to keep it simple and cost effective and to make it alot easier to manage and its kinda a test prodject,
to have a lowtech clean and healthy and balanced planted tank as never really been that happy with any of my old lowtechs in the past when I fist started.
Thing is the hightech fast lane isnt always (what I found) cracked up to be (for me).
(Lowtech is what im sticking with kis ;)
thanks for your input gents iv always found this forum to be a grate help I remember garuf talking me through my old high tech he helped me a grate deal in the past and helped me understand alot along with the rest of you guys ;)
