Upgrading my cable work right now
@Juri: as I saw your rack pictures, you do not use any external canister filters, do you?
No, just the under gravel filter system.
So finally after the review here are some up to date pics of this project.
I have to admit that I have used special light for this Photos
Here is a picture of the LED light I use above my shrimp tanks.
growth is really nice. Shrimps do look good too.
just couple random images from the early days
I envy you Juri! Looks an awesome home for them!
this is a dream...
good job man!
I need the 100mil macro, can't get close enough with the 60..
Are they the same lights as your other friend uses... the one with four tanks together... him?
Really great set ups. I'm really jealous of your shrimp.
They're definitly not the same as Flo's
I've measrured Juri's LED's quickly, each diode emits round about 180 mW. That's no "Bauhaus"-stuff !
Sorry Flo, no offense!
Oh? What are Flos? They look very similar at a glance?
What does mW equate to in PAR do we know?
Look twice !!!
You can't really compare that!
(ok, if you compare a 911 to a Lada, they both bring you from "A" to "B" )
PAR is something I can't measure, neither lumen or else, sorry!
p.s.: Once again, Flo, no offense!
(but although I wonder, how you blow your money off? )
Did you make these then, Gamma or...?
Led's is Led's as far as I can tell.
I don't think Flo will take any offence, you've not said his are rubbish or anything like that.
folks, at least important is that our plants grow ... if you had spend 250 € for the light or 150 € doesn t matter in the end.
I'll no more discuss the light with you, I gave enough hints!
You gonna get it your way
Hmm, wonder, but in which form do they grow?
Anyway, for detailed inf you can contact me...
sorry Juri, for crashing your thread!
Eva no problem
Just want to give you a quick update - the shrimp babys are growing fast, already double the size as showed above. This means everything is fine and my water parameters are nice for taiwan shrimps.
