    Hey Folks,

some of you may know/knew my "4 nanos to square" project...
Today i decided to change this project.
The maintenance was very difficult in those boxes, cause there were nearly no space to trim, or to clean the tank. That is why the tanks are in a bad condition at this moment.

I used the same LED Stripes as in my 4 nanos to square project to build a DIY Overhead Light.
I moved three tanks up on top of the stand and next week i will clean and rescape them completely.

I ll leave them as glosso/moss tanks only... maybe some staurogyne.

First picture of the old 3 dirty nanos with the new DIY light...

    Cheers

Flo I will follow this with great interest at the moment I am looking at a small 10lt tank with a fitted LED light.

I have an idea in my head but for some reason I cannot develop it.

Not driving any more, means I will have to work with what I have and that is not much more than smooth river stones.

Thanks Keith for following my projects.
Couldn t you go by bus or train, if you drive not anymore?
Do you want to have any special kind of stone?

    Cheers
    Flo

    Thank you.

I would never use red plants in my 3 nanos, i want to keep it as lowtech as possible.

First quick update after rescaping the three beautys yesterday...
...and yes the filter are in front, better to clean and the only place they fit good and making a good flow.
Of course any next update will be without them.

If I were you I would make the gaps between the tanks smaller. It will help us, to see in one big scape, not 3 divided. Keep up good work! ;)

Great rendering ! Much better without those (ugly) filters :)
And the towel is a good tweak. Gotta try that for my next shots :p
