come on folks :ehhh:
Flo, New member here - Love the 4 different scapes! Very nice use of the space and you make each tank interesting. Will follow this thread to watch the progress!
thank you and :welcome: to ASW. Enjoy your stay
like me,.....maybe they are trying to figure out what to say)
flo,......thanks for sharing your hard work:rock:
keep the good work up mate
Should I? Should I not?
Not yet :-p
Taking that photo one step back, looks nice! Ah mate... you made me wanna do the same rack!
As I said before the last hardscape is the best so far, but the others are doing well also.
Why is the water of the left upper corner tank so cloudy?
Flo, you have forgotten that on expedit you have place for another 2 tank, on the top of the furniture.
Very interesting hardscape on the bottom right one.Like the cave/passage you made there.Looking forward to see it with plants.
why not? go for it :113:
the water is cloudy caused by bacteria i guess, i had the same at tank 1 after a while it disapered and the water became cristal clear, so i ll wait and do daily wc.
two more tanks would be cool, on top or below the others, but that were two more reason for my girl to kick my ass as well ).
and i want to give you the chance to overbid me.
thank you godfish i ll keep you update. i think this tank ll be set up next month :113:
If you have had the permission to set up 4 nanos, then 2 more is nothing )
By the way same situation as me, to be honest, the only limit is my girlfriend (okay, I admit, some money issue also :money:, but the main reason is the first one )
But I have a slight chance to set up a new nano tank, (only for shrimps, not a serious aquascaping project) IF I have managed to take some life in the bigger one. She promised me, I won't forget what she said before!
yeah, money issue is a problem for me too. thats why i set up the tanks step by step and want to keep them lowtech.
i told my girlfriend that i would like to have a nano, after i bought one i said to her:"come on honey, one single tank looks so lost in this big stand" hehe, just have to know how to do and what to say. ).
Nice and clean look!
Thanks for sharing your photos of the process.
you can tell me if you are speechless and if the reason is good or bad , or you can rate my hard work with some stars . thanks mate.
the tanks are lovely and rack looks good. are you trying to create a cave in the last tank?
thank you. it s a cave or a path. something like this you can find at some coasts where the waves created a natural cave/path. we ll see what comes out after planting and after the plants filled in.
I didn't see how you separated soil and sands in tank #3.
You don't have any plastic-stripes in there as long as the plants are setted?
Hope it won't mix up...
just keep the project and your journal going
hmmmm:-? i may do that when your near completion all four nano's.
normaly i just serperate sand and substrate while working on the hardscape. i plant carefully not directly at the transition and let the plants grow a natural transition by itself. never had problems, so don t worry, be happy
that s unfair. juri got his thread rated with thousand stars before he completed his tanks.... admin bonus :ehhh: :eyeroll:
