At the moment i am trimming the plants in my "beauty of the second floor" and doing wc.
Update pics will follow in the other thread. ;)

    Hi Flo,
nice scapes:113:. The riccardia on the lava stones looks great. I see you are using LEDs. What kind of stripes do you use? I guess it is simple "Baumarkt" stuff? How much lm/w do they have?

hi aram my friend :), of course the riccardia looks great, it s send by you ;). thanks again for the time you spend. :113:
i bought the LED at hagebau markt, don t know if you have them in the south. the brand is called "Casaya". Each stripe has 12 led a 0,8 watt. the set is really cool, you can connect 6 stripes at each power supplier. 3 stripes are in a package and you can buy expension sets for less money. at the moment i run 2 cold white and 1 red stripe at the second tank. i hope hc will start to grow. i never had much luck with hc. the glosso in tank 1 seems to be satisfied with 2 stripes (1 Red, 1 coldwhite).

    cheers

    Coming along nicely!

Are you a single stem at a time cutter, or will you be mowing the lawn?

    hey eva,

the spectrum of the cold white stripe should be around 5000k. but we have to consider that led don t have a constant spectrum. i dont know the spectrum of the red stripe, but normal leds/smds (no matter if warm or coldwhite) havent a good red part in its spectrum. easy to test if you hold a tomato under the led, it would look brown insteed of red. that is why i use red stripes too.
